Abstract: In this paper the heat convection in preheating and cooling zones of Ceramic tunntl kilns has emphatically been studied by means of aerody namic model. Threc different cylindrical settings are used in the experiements. The coefficients of heat transfer by convection are meaSured at three di-fferent types of scttings. The criterion equatios of heat convection are obtained. Thus a formu1a is derived for calculating coefficient of heat . transfer by convection in these zoiles, In this paper the pressure- drops along setting are meaSured, and the second self- simulation region it modelling is found.
