Abstract:The copolymer of methacrylic acid - maleic anhydride - polyethyleneglycol ( 200) s ingle es ter (PMPA) with low relative molecular mas s and water solubility were synthes ized by the es terification and solution polymerization which was based on the mechanisms and molecular s tructure of dispersant. The effects of formula and technology on characteris tic of suspens ionsys tem of ceramic were s tudied. The s tructure characteris tics were s tudied by FT- IR、XRD、DSC and GPC. The experimental results show that PMPA has the low relative molecular mas s of 3445g/mol with the monomer ratio 1:8 of methacrylic acid -maleic anhydride - polyethyleneglycol ( 200) and KPS 1wt% (based on the total reaction mas s ) at 80℃ for 2.5h. XRD and DSC have shown the amorphous s tructure of copolymer with the 114℃ of glas s trans ition temperature.
