Abstract: The nano- TiO₂ visible - light- induced photocatalytic mechanism is briefly stated. The mechanism is almos t the same as that of the ultraviolet- light- induced photocatalys is except for its charge transmission and separation mechanism. The lates tresearch progres s of nano - TiO₂ visible - light- induced photocatalyst, includedion doping, ion implantation, compos ite semiconductor,noble metal deposition and photosens itization technique, is reviewed in detail.
