Abstract:Li2O-ZnO -SiO2 glass -ceramics containing nucleating agent TiO2 were prepared by conventional melt quenching technique. The crystallization kinetics of the glass was studied using Johnson-Mehl-Avrami equation and the influences of heating treatment condition on crystallization behavior and microstructure were discussed by XRD and SEM. The results show the crystallization process includes two stages. The initial crystalline phase is γⅡ-LZS in spherical shape. When the heating temperature is higher than 760℃, cristobalite phase appears. The activation energies of γⅡ-LZS and cristobalite by Kissinger equation are 315.2KJ/mol and 343.7KJ/mol respectively.
