Abstract:CuCr2O4 nanopowders were prepared by alcohol-aqueous coprecipitation process, and were dispersed by surface active agent. The effects of the sintering temperature and surface active agent on the particles and the application of nanopowders in the fabrication of photoanodes of dye -sensitized solar cells were discussed. The particles were characterized by XRD, TEM, SEM, UV-vis and FT-IR. The results showed: the sintering temperature is 1000°C; when the amount of PEG400 was 1.5% , the dispersion is best; doping CuCr2O4 nano -powder can improve the conversion of photoelectric efficiency of the solar cells, and compared with that of pure TiO2 film electrode, η increased 22.6%.
