Abstract：Envelope method and normal line method in the solution of the surface of the roller have been discussed  and  taking for example the surface by an ellipse, equidistant family of curves, the method of  solving  roller  with  normal  line  method  was  deduced.  The  problems,  such  as  the  curvacture interfer of the roller and relation line rate between  the roller and the body have been discussed, the resulting  slanting  angle  of  the  roller  is about  50, and  the  ratio  of  rotating  speed  i21  of  the  roller shaft to the mainshafe is about 1.
