Studies of White Ware in Jingdezhen, Yongle's Reign

Abstract:  This study has shown that the ratio R2/RO for two glazes of yongle white ware was the highest,compared with other white ware glazes in Jingdezhen, and even the higest in northern why yongle white ware glaze possess alkalilime characteristic. The hing viscosity appeared in firing process was the essentialic. Reason for the apperance of remained puartz and mickgrains which were less than 10 μm made the Yongle white procelain look like jadeproduct. The composition, micro structure and appearance of Yongle white ware were different form those of Yuan, Ming and other dynasties they become peerless products.
