Abstract: Xing white ware was one of the earliest famous white porcclains in the ceramic history of China. The chemical compositions, microstructure, firing temperature and manufacturing process of Xing white ware of Sui and Tang Dynasties unearthed in Lincheng and Neiqiu kilnsite were studied. The difference between Xing white ware and northern and southern white ware perhaps was provided as important scientific data to facilitate the replication ofXing white ware.
