Abstract: This article compares the meaning of the concept of "human" and the understanding of the nature of humans between the two human rights theories. The reason why the bourgeois human rights view emphasizes individual human rights and the Marxist human rights view emphasizes collective human rights is because these two human rights theories are based on different ownership systems. The article believes that understanding the nature of human beings is the key to grasping the theory of human rights, and that the solution of human rights issues is subject to the constraints of economic and cultural development.
