Aesthetic Implication of Ganzhou Seven Town Kiln Ceramics from Hakka Culture

Abstract: In ancient Chinese history, Hakkas from Central Plains experienced five large-scale "migration southward" in order to avoid the war and created unique Hakka culture in the tempering of thousands of miles migration and the forging of remote mountain environment, forming an excellent cultural connotation with characteristics of simplicity, diligence, hospitality and tolerance. Ganzhou is one of the main Hakka settlements. The ceramics produced in Ganzhou seven town Kiln were the main living utensils of Hakka in that time and the influence of Hakka culture left a deep imprint on these ceramic utensils. Considering the influence of Hakka cultural characteristics on the development of Ganzhou seven town kiln ceramic arts, as well as the elements such as form, material and shape, the aesthetic implication of Ganzhou seven town kiln ceramic arts will be thoroughly discussed.
