Abstract: Based on Li₂O-Al₂O₃-SiO₂ system, the paper has studied and analysed in details on the relations between compositions, processes, microstructures and properties of the low thermal expansion glaze. Thus obtained the making process and the thermal expaotion coefficiency which is lower than 0.5×10⁹℃^－1and its thermal shock resistence is excellent.
