Abstract: The Paper introduces the imitation art of Li nru celadon. The test shows that its body can be compounded with several poor clays from the locatity and also compounded with feldspar, quartz and good clas. There is a great difference in the glaze colour because of the different bodies. Linru cclaclon is a transparent glaze containing plenty calsium. It can be made up of proper content of local clays with feldspar, quartz, woodasb and calsite. When SiO2/Al2O3 is in a ratio of about 7-8, Fe2O3 content is in a range of 1.5 -1.8- percent, the glaze colour is fine. When P2O5 content is higher which causes glaze milky turbided and in which Fe2O3 composition is introduced from different raw materials, the effect of apparent colour is definite different. The firing temperature, atmosphere, firing time cooling system as well as thickness of glaze also have a great influence upon the apperant eHect of glaze.
