Abstract: This paper explains the development plan of the daily-used ceramics industry in China in the next fifteen years. In 1990, the production of daily used ceramics will be 4, 000 million pieces (including 700 million piecse for export), its output value will be 2, 200 mi lion yuan;in 2000,its production will be up to 4, 200 million pieces (including 800-850 million pieces for export), the output value will be 5000 million yuan.. The specific measures to be taken are: to strengthen the construction of the raw-material and the auxiliary-material enterprices, to form in steps a multiple structure vrith a various style of ceramic commodities,to cultivate lots of specialists with specialized knowledge to be adapted to the modernization of ceramic production, to introduce the advanced technique from abroad, and to expand the exchange of information of science and technology with the outside world.
